Virginia Lee Bishop passed away Wednesday evening, July 12, 2017 in Cleburne, Tx. She was 91. She was born in Wellington, MO, July 1, 1926. Virginia Lee was the daughter of Orval T and Minnie Thurman Williams. She married A. L. Bishop December 26, 1945 in Kansas City, Kansas. Virginia was a teacher, bank teller, and homemaker. Because of A. L.s job with the railroad she lived in places like Texas, Kansas, Nebraska, Illinois, and Missouri. She never met a stranger. She loved to travel, cooking, gardening, and flowers. Virginia Lee was preceded in death by her husband, parents; and brother, Norman. She is survived by her son, Art Bishop and his wife Lynn of Grandview; Grandchildren, Virginia Bishop of Edinburg, Elizabeth Bishop of St. Louis, Mo, and Jessica Bishop of Denton.
