Cleburne - A Celebration of Life service for Vicki Moore will take place on May 16, 2026, at 11am at Calvary Baptist Church in Cleburne, Texas. Vicki Lynn Moore passed away peacefully on April 10, 2026, in Fort Worth, Texas, surrounded by her family at the age of 72.
Vicki was born August 27, 1953, in Cleburne, Texas, to Richard and Shirley Hestilow. She was a lifelong resident of Cleburne, a woman of strength and steadfast love for her family and friends. She was married to James Glenn Moore for 25 years. Vicki was known for her hospitality and kindness that left a mark on those around her. As a manager at Jack in the Box for over 20 years, she built quite a following of loyal regulars who loved drinking coffee and chatting with her about life. It's her hospitality, faithfulness, and kindness that will be passed down to her own children and grandchildren. Vicki was a devoted wife, mother, and mema, who made it a priority to keep in touch with her large family. She never missed a birthday or special day for those she loved.
Vicki had a unique gift to make every member of her large family feel seen and loved as if they were her only children or grandchildren. You could almost guarantee that if you were to show up at her house any given day, you would see someone from her family there catching up with her. Vicki found joy by watching those she loved succeed and grow, while she quietly served and loved in the background. She enjoyed going to a George Strait concert, taking care of her dogs, and rooting against the Cowboys each Sunday. She lived a simple life, but one full of fulfillment and joy. She will be missed and never forgotten. Vicki was a longtime member of Calvary Baptist Church and sought to live devoted to her faith each and every day.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Shirley Hestilow, and her son, Kenneth McCowen Jr, and great-granddaughter, Aubrey Moore.
Vicki is survived by her husband Glenn Moore, sisters, Linda Myers and Lawanna Bradshaw, her brother, Richie Hestilow and wife Cathy, her daughters Michelle Moralez, Stephanie Conner, Misty Bagby and husband Greg, Amy Malone and husband Robert, Brittani Pierce and husband David, Christi Moore, and her sons Brian Hughes and wife Abbey, and Corey Moore; grandchildren Kristen Garcia, Heather Castro, Jon Smith, Ashley Smith, Amanda Conner, Courtney Conner, Will Conner, James Conner, Krishna and Cody Smith, Bettie and Hunter Hawhee, Noah Hayes, Jakob and Alexis Rose, Chelsi Smith, Kristofer Malone, Ryan Cathey, Dani Willesford, Dillon Moore, Caden Pierce, Aubrey Pierce, and Lillie Hughes; Along with great-grandchildren Mia Garcia, Maddie Castro, Ezra Bosler, Marliegh Smith, Willow Smith, Emberleigh Rose, Harleigh Rose, Joe Moore and Eli Moore.
