Rio Vista - Robin Denise Gonzalez, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend of Rio Vista, Texas, passed away peacefully in Fort Worth, Texas, on May 5, 2026, at the age of 67, surrounded by her loving family and friends.

Robin was born on October 17, 1958, in Fort Worth, Texas. She lived a life filled with love, strength, and compassion. Robin had a special love for animals and found great joy in gardening, spending time caring for her flowers and creating beauty wherever she went. Those who knew her best knew how deeply loving and caring she truly was.

Above all, Robin cherished her family. She adored her grandchildren and treasured every moment spent with them. Her love, guidance, and unwavering presence will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Robin was preceded in death by her parents, Kathryn Knight and Fritz Gibson Knight Jr., as well as her brother, Fritz Gibson Knight III, lovingly known as "Skeeter."

She is survived by her devoted husband, Michael Anthony Gonzalez, whom she married on October 31, 1986.

She is also survived by her three daughters: Jamie Terronez and husband Ricardo, Denise Waldrip and husband Bradley, and Lisa Davila and husband Gabe.

Robin leaves behind six beloved grandchildren: Destiny Shukers, Brandon Terronez and wife Tracie, Myles Waldrip, Annastyn Waldrip, Jaxon Davila, and Jonovan Davila.

Robin was deeply loved and will be truly missed. Her memory will live on through the love she gave, the lessons she taught, and the family she cherished so dearly.
