Alvarado, Texas - Lisha Dianne Petty, 59, of Alvarado went to be with the Lord on August 11, 2019 surrounded by her loved ones.

Lisha was born on July 11, 1960 in Visalia, California. She was the child of Charles and Bessie Briscoe.

On July 3, 1987 Lisha married the love of her life, Jimmy Lee Petty Sr. She was a loving wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. In 2010 she accepted Jesus Christ as her savior and was baptized at Cowboy Way church. Lisha was employed at Wal-Mart in Cleburne, Texas for over 12 years, everyone will remember her for her beautiful soul.

She is preceded in death by her father, Charles Briscoe; her sister, Deborah Hale; and her brother, Michael West.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Jimmy Lee Petty Sr.; her sons, Jimmy Lee Petty II and William Lewis Petty; her daughter, Melissa Kay Belcheran and her husband John; her mother, Bessie Irene Briscoe; her brother, Charles Briscoe; her sisters, Charlcie Thompson, Judy Sybesma, Geneva Segura, and Lynona Helton; and her two grandchildren, Abby Irene Belcher and Brock Michael Belcher.
