Joy Nell Harbour, 83, peacefully passed from this life on January 8th, 2023.

She was born March 9th, 1939, in Mountain View, Arkansas to Reverend H.W. Jinske and Laura Jane Jinske.

She graduated from Mountain View High School in 1956.

She went on to meet the love of her life and married Joe Harbour on December 26th, 1964, in Little Rock, Arkansas.

She moved to Burleson, Tx. From Wichita Falls, Tx., in 1970. She became a member of First Baptist Church, Burleson.

She loved to play bridge and played so well she became a Life Master at Duplicate Bridge. She was hard to beat.

She was wife to Joe, mother to two daughters and Mamaw to 2 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

She was a realtor in the 1980's and loved selling homes to families.

She also worked for the Department of Human Resources in Cleburne, Tx., for a number of years and enjoyed helping others.

She grew up always wanting to have a dog and in her adult life made sure she always had one or two by her side. She is survived by her beloved King Charles Cavalier Spaniel "Emma".

She always enjoyed family gatherings where she could make her famous chocolate pie and playing and reading to the children.

She was great at hosting a bridge party and could run circles around you during a Mexican train game.

She loved to be in the cool mountains in the summer and in the fall enjoying the changing color of the leaves in Arkansas. She could always be found absorbed in a book or texting grandchildren or friends on her iPad. She and the family are devoted Arkansas Razorback fans.

The last year and 8 months she resided at Chisholm Trail Estates in Keene, Tx., and was tended to by Alpha and Omega Hospice, Sincere thanks to them for the excellent care she received and to the staff at Chisholm Trail Estates.

She is survived by husband, Joe of Burleson, Tx. Daughters Rhonda Rice of Joshua, Tx, and Anne Pace of Burleson, Tx. Grandchildren Chala Wallace of Burleson, Tx, and Callan Wallace of Dallas, Tx. Great-grandchildren Audrey Furr, Vivian Furr, Gwyneth Crowder and Charlotte Crowder. Numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.

She was predeceased by her parents and sister Betty Greening of College Station, Tx.

Memorials in her honor can be made to Chisholm Trail Estates in Keene, Tx and Alpha and Omega Hospice in Weatherford, Tx.
