Cedar Hill, Texas - James Alvin Camp passed away on October 21,2025 in Cedar Hill. He was born to Joel Rodney and Margaret Ethel Pope Camp on May 26,1946. He is survived by his children, Angela Ott, Mary Lindsey and husband Charles, James Camp Jr, Donnie Camp and wife Cassi, brother Roger Camp and wife Merlyn, sisters Dovie George and husband Kenneth, Ruth and husband Andrew, Margaret McCollum and husband Murry, 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, a 1 great-great grandchild, numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
James was preceded in death by his parents, JR and Margaret Camp, siblings Joe, Monroe, Timothy, Ronnie, Luther, Jimmy, Jessie, Floyd, Mary, Kenneth, and Cecil.
A private memorial will be held at a later date.
