Bryan Thomas Tye, 74, of Grandview, followed the love of his life, Gloria, into heaven on August 24, 2017 at 7:30am. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 26, 2017, from 3:00-5:00pm at Clayton-Vaughn Funeral Home in Grandview, TX. Bryan Tye was born in Paducah, TX, on May 27, 1943 to Cleo Reece and Ida Vee Tye. He married Gloria Jean French on May 31, 1969 in Mansfield. They were married for 41 years. Bryan was a fireman and an entrepreneur, working mainly in the fire safety industry. Bryan is survived by his sister, Wanda Scott; his daughter Shelly Segroves and husband Mike, of Grandview; his sons, Bret Tye and wife Laura, of Temple; and Chad Tye and wife Glenda, of Grandview; 12 grandchildren, Britney Segroves; Clinton Segroves and wife, Maribel; Jeanne-Anne and Andrew Tye; Rebekah, Isaac, Leah, Jordan, Selah Tye and Dabria, Caleb, and Seth Draper; and one great-grandchild, Bristin Pierce.
