Betty Janell Jordon, 67, of Hillsboro, Texas, passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at home. Funeral services will take place at 10:00 AM, Monday, March 31, 2025, at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors in Hillsboro, with Pastor Wade Yarbro officiating. A burial will follow the service at Pleasant View "Jawbone" Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Sunday, March 30, 2025, at Marshall and Marshall.

Betty was born February 7, 1958, in Belton, Texas, to Edward "Bunk" and Bonnie (Riley) Ward. She attended school in Hillsboro, Texas. Betty married Tim Jordon on November 17, 1988.

She was a caretaker for years for her sister, nieces and nephews and worked as a Dietician Aide for years at Whitney Hospital. Betty loved to visit with family and friends. She loved to go to garages sales and collect snowmen and other nick knacks. Betty was an avid Texas Rangers fan and loved to watch football.

Betty is preceded in death by her father, Edward "Bunk" Ward; grandparents, George and Lucy Riley and Edwin "Ed" and Annie Ward; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

She is survived by her mother, Bonnie (Riley) Ward; her husband, Tim Jordon; her son, Ed Jordon and life partner, Leigh Ann Isbell of Whitney, Texas; brothers Bobby Ward and wife, Gina, of Hillsboro and Billy Ward and wife Margaret of Ponder, Texas; sisters, Barbara Raulston, Bylinda Clendening and her husband, Steve, of Waco, and Lorreta Black and her husband, Danny, of Waxahachie; nieces, Tammy Ward, Tonya Ward, Rhonda Lyendecker, Tiffany Fain, April Sanders; nephews, Carl Clendening, Cody Clendening, Malcolm Ward, and Jason Ward; bonus grandchildren, Travis Wayne, Maddy Bryan, Karyn Isbell, Summer Vowell, Raven Vowell, William Marks, Kendal Bryan, Joseph Bryan and Travis Bryan.
