Funeral services for Ty Nolan Taylor, 25, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 9, 2016 at Cleburne Bible Church with Rina Ramos officiating. Burial will follow at Rosehill Cemetery.
Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6 - 8 p.m. Friday, July 8, 2016 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Ty passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2016 in Cleburne. He was born in Amarillo, Texas on June 23, 1991, the son of Kemi (Jennings) and Ross Taylor.
A 2010 CHS graduate, Ty played varsity baseball for 4 years during which he was named Freshman Newcomer of the Year, Sophomore of the Year, as a Senior was District MVP and All State and was All District all four years.
He also played varsity football during the 2007 and 2008 seasons during which he was 2nd Team All District and Team MVP in 2008.
During his college years, Ty played baseball, being named All Conference and All Region at Weatherford Junior College; Oklahoma University; and for two years at Abilene Christian where he was All Conference and was named to the All Conference Tournament Team.
Ty was employed at Stix Baseball Organization.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lataine Taylor and Amy and Keith Jennings.
Ty is survived by his parents, Ross and Kemi Taylor of Cleburne; sister, Kala Winn and husband, Marlon, of Cleburne; nieces, Enzley and Qynley; grandfather, Jerry Taylor of Amarillo; and many other family and friends.
