Lucille (Billie) Burdette, 95, a longtime resident of Alvarado went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at the Alvarado Rehabilitation and Care Center. Lucille was born on July 8, 1921 in Belvidere, Tennessee. Waiting for her with loving arms was her parents Will and Lilly May Couch, 2 sisters and 2 brothers, son Paul Morris, daughter Tracey Burdette (Fencl), grandson Elton Morris, and great-granddaughter Kaycee Gee.
Survivors: Devoted husband of 55 years, Travis Burdette, 2 step-daughters Beth and Cindy, step-son Larry, (sister) Mickey West and husband Raymond, (son) Eugene and Jo Morris, (son) Bobby Morris, (daughter) Mary Maxon and husband Gene Paulson. Grandchildren Pam and Mike Nolan, Jennifer Pressler, Crystal and Michael Wilson, Elton Morris II, Joseph Morris, Robin and Jim Rhoades, Robert Alldredge Jr and Sherry, Alisha and Stephen Carpenter, Nathan and Mayeda Maxon, Christopher Fencl, Erin Nolan, Devan and Bobby Jernigan, Michael Nolan II, Tracie Morris Fretwell, Jayson Morris, Joshua and Mandy Rhoades, Brittany Rhoades, Ashleigh Alldredge, Rebecca McCarthy, Robert Alldredge III, Laith Maxon, Kyle and Rebekah Bryant, Jeremy Bryant, numerous great grandchildren, other family, and friends.
The family will receive friends at the Clayton Kay Vaughan Funeral Home, located at 200 E. Patton Street, Alvarado on Thursday, August 25, 2016 from 6;00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 26, 2010 in the Alvarado Chapel at 10:00 AM with Rev. Craig Vire Officiating.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to the Bethesda Baptist Church, P O Box 756, Burleson, Texas 76097.
