Edmond DeWayne Irwin, 55, also known as Nubbin in his hometown of Grandview, TX, left his earthly home on November 15, 2016. He fought a tough fight, very few knew about against a disease that has claimed so many.
DeWayne was born on June 26, 1961 in Cleburne, TX, to parents, Edmond Ray and Jessie Katheryn (Leeth) Irwin. He grew up in Grandview and graduated from Grandview High School in 1979.
DeWayne was a devoted father, protective big brother, fun-loving uncle, amazing PaPa and a one of a kind friend. He cherished being a father and PaPa more than anything. He went without to give to so many in need. His smile was infectious and his work ethic envied by many. He was president of D. Irwin Investments and founded multiple companies including Grandview Arms, Fort Worth Gun, BAMF Motorsports, and Fort Worth Legend Cars throughout his lifetime.
DeWayne is survived by his brother Curtis Irwin, wife Carrie, and family; daughter Kristin Henslee, 35, husband Cody, and family; daughter Morgan Spencer, 27, husband Bobby, and family; daughters Landri Irwin, 9, and Hadley Irwin, 6, all of Grandview.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Jessie Katheryn Ingle in 2009 and his father, Edmond Ray Irwin in 2011.
DeWayne Nubbin Irwin will be dearly missed and remembered by so many.
In lieu of flowers, please bring a new, unwrapped toy to either service to be donated in DeWaynes name to children in need this Christmas.
