Betty was born June 11, 1919, Scurry, Tx, to Alice May (Ware) Scott and Louis Steven Scott. She was the fourth of five siblings. Betty graduated from Ennis High School. She spent her early years in Kaufman/Ellis Counties before moving to Fort Worth. While in Fort Worth, Betty worked in Sales at Stripling Cox for many years. She also saw the birth of her only child, Betty Lynn Byars. In 1963, Betty married the love of her life, Robert H. (Bob) Miller, truly a Love Story for the ages. During the next 54 years, Betty was a wife, homemaker, Business Administrator for Miller Pattern Works, cook (her homemade pound cake was the best!), Gardner, avid bowler, dancer, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and a lover of life! Her many loves included family, pets, her vegetable garden, travel and socializing as often as possible. She was a lifetime member of Elks Lodge #124. Betty had a sense of humor that was contagious and the wit to match. Betty had great love for her family and truly enjoyed moments together. She will be missed by so many friends and loved ones. We love you Granny!
